What is Eastleigh Dial-a-Ride?       

Eastleigh Dial-a-Ride is available to anyone who has a mobility or sensory impairment which means that they are unable or experience difficulty or discomfort in using bus services. It uses specially adapted vehicles equipped to carry disabled passengers, with or without wheelchairs.  

                Who can use the service?

You can use the service if you live in the borough of Eastleigh and have difficulty walking or using buses. Click Here for an application form.

                Where can I go?

Dial-a-Ride can take you anywhere within the borough of Eastleigh, and also to Southampton city centre (on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday only). You can use Dial-a-Ride to go to the shops, visit friends or relatives, go to the pub, cinema, theatre … you tell us.

                Where can’t I go?

Dial-a-Ride cannot take users to hospital appointments, day centres or to your GP. (The hospital, Social Services or your doctor should arrange these trips.)

                How much does it cost?

Fares are based on a system similar to local bus fares. You pay the driver, just as you would on a bus or taxi. Bus tokens may also be used.

               Monday-Thursday    

                      9am-4.30pm

               Friday only

                      9am-4.00pm

               Saturday only 

                      9am-4.30pm

               Sunday only

                     10am-5pm

Eastleigh Dial-a-Ride has over 1,000 registered users, and handles over 28,000 passenger trips a year.
